Alpha Natural Resources Recognized for Safety and Environmental Achievements

BRISTOL, Va., April 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE:ANR), a leading U.S. coal supplier, announced that several of its operations have been recognized for their safety and reclamation achievements. The awards were received at recent events, including the 39th annual West Virginia Coal Association Mining Symposium held in Charleston, W.Va.
